In this workshop lead by school-based yoga instructor Emily Fleming, participants learn what it takes to establish themselves as a school instructor or yoga program – whether as an external program partner or internally as a staff member.
The recording of the presentation and downloads will be available for replay for 30 days from purchase (breakout groups from the live workshop were not recorded).
Between Emily’s presentation and take-home worksheets, participants will:
- reflect on their niche, vision, and goals for their school based programming;
- learn to structure their programming to promote desired student outcomes;
- develop an action plan for getting started in light of common school planning timelines;
- leave with tips for communicating with school administrators about their program offerings.
Who should take this workshop? Anyone who is ready to offer yoga in schools or expand their program and wants to overcome common obstacles.
